Yune is a Taiseian mermaid with the ability to gain legs and live among humans. While traveling on land, Yune discovered models who would dress up as mermaid and pose for pictures. Fascinated by this, she learned more, and eventually decided to do the same. However, as with all mermaids, if she got wet, she would lose her legs. In order to hide her real mermaid self, she will hypnotize the humans close to her before she changes. This allows her to fool humans into believe that she had actually put on her tail, and forgetting her real transformation.

Yune has a voice that is literally charming to human, in which she can't control. Any humans, regardless of gender, that hear her voice will end up being entirely smitten to her, and will do anything she says. So to control that, she often pretends that she is a mute among humans.
